Luis R. López

Mr. Luis R. López presently studies to obtain a Ph.D in Philosophy in Education with a major in Sports Management from Northcentral University in Arizona. He has a Master’s Degree from the University of Puerto Rico with a Major in Exercise Sciences with a concentration in Exercise Physiology. He has also received Certification on Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association of Nevada, Certification in Periodization-Strength and Conditioning Expert from the Tudor Bompa Institute of Kristiansand, Norway and Fitness Trainer from the International Sport Science Association of California. He has a vast experience in his field and has demonstrated it as coach of the Puerto Rico Track and Field National Team. Furthermore, he has competed in different events in which he has been a Gold medalist in the 4 x 100 relay of the Iberoamerican Track and Field Championship in Spain in 2010 and a Bronze medalist in the 100 meters at Justas de la Liga Atlética Interuniversitaria, Puerto Rico in 2009. Based on the goals previously set by Dr. Cuevas, Mr. López will identify the patient’s needs and create a personalized exercise program that will help meet the patient’s goals in a healthy way.
